Purple Poetry

candleDig if U will, a picture…

The room is adorned
in PURPLE, PEACH, and BLACK.
A candle burns by the
stained glass window, as the rain falls.
The lights go down in this empty room…

This is the day we thought would never come.

U lived 4 your art
and U died 4 it, 2
but U graciously shared it with us all.

U made us laugh and U moved us 2 dance
and we listened 2 the RHYTHM OF YOUR HEART.
U made us believe that
“This is not music. This is a trip.”

“2 whomever it may concern: U must come 2 your senses.
There R no KINGS on this earth… only PRINCES.”

U shared with us the POWER FANTASTIC
U gave us NEW POWER SOUL
U took us in2 the JOY FANTASTIC
U guided the RAINBOW CHILDREN through the DAYS OF WILD.

“JOINT 2 JOINT, nothing comes 4 free”
U freed the music
U refused 2 be a SLAVE 2 THE SYSTEM.
And U “freed our minds from this rat race” of life.

I’ll bet U went with a smile
doing what U loved the most.

“Sometimes it snows in April,
and all good things, they say, never last.”

Looks like U found your MOONBEAM LEVELS.

I WISH U HEAVEN…

Welcome 2 the DAWN, my friend.
